Yup Yup 7up, where there is patience there is progress. The last few weeks I have been developing my home made ping pong ball launcher for the use in my obstacle course assignment. The assignment requires the building and setup f an obstacle course for my assembled elegoo to navigate through and catch ping pong balls at the end. Earlier this week i whipped out the measuring tape, tape, books and boxes to create the course.

Course layout given to us
Sponsored by Apple and Heineken of course

With a planned approach, this part of the assessment wasn’t overly complicated. The biggest decision to make was where to put the course without getting in my families way. After studying the given layout from our professor, I created the outline and sections of my course using tape and a measuring tape. This made the task of placing the obstacles very easy. The Heineken bottles are going to be used as an obstacle for the ping pong ball launcher to overcome, dropping a bottle from the fridge was the most excitement ive experienced in the past 7 months.

What my Launcher will see

With the course assembled, the remaining tasks included finalising the design of my launcher and the programming of my elegoo to navigate its way through the course. At this point I believed my nerf gun/Launcher design was perfected, however it was not to be :(. My next blog will detail my launcher design journey.
